Outreach

Outreach focuses on the development of content for informal science.  The content developed has been on display in museums across the country, which receive over 6,000,000 visitors a year.

Drs. Usenko and Trumble’s earwax research was highlighted in Whale Earplug display at the Smithsonian Institution’s Museum of Natural History (see image below) as well as the California Academy of Sciences “Reading the Layers: Whales”.
